About IASR

The International Academy for Suicide Research is an organization that promotes high standards of research and scholarship in the field of suicidal behaviour by fostering communication and cooperation among scholars engaged in such research.

The Academy’s official publication is the Archives of Suicide Research, a peer-reviewed journal published by Taylor-Francis.

The Academy holds annual scientific and business meetings, which have been held in conjunction with conferences presented by the International Association for Suicide Prevention, the European Symposium on Suicide and Suicidal Behaviour, and the American Association of Suicidology.

First IASR world congress in North America

The Québec Suicide research Network (RQRS) in collaboration with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) are pleased to present the first IASR world congress to the be held in North America. The RQRS and AFSP invite any individuals, organizations or companies interested in contributing to this exceptional event, which will offer a unique opportunity to hear from and to discuss with international leaders in suicide and suicidal behavior research.
